FAQ

Do my clients need a monday.com account? No. They open a link. You can add a password and a last day.

What can clients see? Only the items you chose for that page and only the columns you picked, plus the item names and your published update. Nothing else from your board or account.

Can clients change my board? Only if you turn on approvals and choose a status column for them: an approval then sets that column to the label you picked. Comments are posted as updates on the item. Both are off by default.

Who appears as the author of client comments? The account admin who authorized Client View. The update says it is a client comment and names the client and the person who wrote it.

How fresh is the page? It reads your board live and refreshes every few minutes.

What does the AI see? Only when you click Draft with AI: the items and columns on that page (and, if you tick the box, the latest comments on those items) are sent to Anthropic with your own API key. Nothing is published until you do it.

How do I stop sharing? Turn the page off, replace its link, or delete it. Uninstalling the app stops every link at once.

Where is my data stored? In monday.com’s own hosting (monday code), EU region. See the privacy policy.
