FAQ
Which DocuSign plans work?
DocuSign Standard, Business Pro, Enhanced and higher, which include partner integrations. The Personal plan doesn’t. You don’t need a DocuSign API plan or the Connect add-on.
Whose DocuSign account sends the envelopes?
The DocuSign user who clicked Connect DocuSign. Envelopes count toward that account’s DocuSign plan. One DocuSign connection is used for the whole monday account.
How fast does the status update?
Usually within seconds: DocuSign notifies the app about each envelope. As a safety net, the app also checks for changes every half hour. The Update button checks one envelope right away (at most every 15 minutes, DocuSign’s limit).
Can an item have more than one envelope?
Yes. The item’s columns always show its newest envelope, and the item’s DocuSign view lists all of them.
What happens if an email is missing or wrong?
Nothing is sent, and Recent activity explains which item needs an email. If DocuSign rejects an address, the error is shown the same way.
Is the AI reading accurate?
It only fills a column when the document states the value, and it posts the sentence it used as an update on the item, so you can check it. Numbers and dates are also checked against that sentence; if they don’t match, the column stays empty.
What data does the app store?
Your settings, the envelopes it sent (ID, item, status and dates) and a short activity log, all in monday.com’s own storage. Documents are not stored by the app; the signed PDF goes straight into your file column. See the privacy policy.
How do I disconnect?
A monday admin clicks Disconnect DocuSign in the view. Uninstalling the app removes all its data.
