Privacy policy: Order Minimums & Limits

This policy explains what data the Wix app “Order Minimums & Limits” (the app), published by Kayabyte, the trading name of Caner Kaya, Stasjonsveien 64, 0771 Oslo, Norway (we, us), processes when it is installed on a Wix site. It adds to the privacy policy for Kayabyte apps for Wix, which also applies.

What the app does

The app checks the Wix Stores cart and checkout against order rules the site owner sets up, such as a minimum number of items, and shows the owner’s message when a rule is not met.

Roles

The site owner is the controller for the data in their Wix site. Kayabyte acts as a processor that handles the data only to check the rules. Wix.com Ltd. hosts the app and its data and is a sub-processor.

Data the app stores

The app stores only the rules the site owner creates in the app’s dashboard page (rule names, on or off state, limits, messages, and the IDs and names of chosen products, categories or collections) and a record of the site’s plan for the app. They are kept in data collections the app creates in the site’s own Wix CMS, readable only by the app and the site owner’s dashboard.

The app does not store any personal data of shoppers or site members.

Data the app reads but does not store

When Wix checks a cart or checkout, it sends the app the cart details. The app uses only the cart line items (product ID, name, quantity and price) to decide whether the rules are met. It does not read the buyer’s name, email, address, phone number or payment details, and it does not keep any of this data after the check.

For rules on categories or collections, the app looks up which categories or collections the products in the cart belong to. In the dashboard it lists the store’s products and categories so the site owner can choose them.

Logs

For each check the app writes one technical log line in Wix’s hosting: the app instance ID, where the check came from (cart or checkout), the plan, how many rules were checked, how many were not met and the time taken. Logs contain no names, contact details, addresses or cart contents.

Plans and payments

The app reads the site’s plan for the app (free, trial or paid) from Wix to apply the plan limit. Paid plans are sold and billed by Wix. We never receive card details.

Cookies, tracking and third parties

The app sets no cookies on the site and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties other than Wix, which hosts the app.

Retention and deletion

Rules are kept while the app is installed. When the app is removed from a site, its stored rules for that site are deleted within 30 days. Site owners can ask for deletion at any time at support@kayabyte.dev.
