What it will do
- Stock per item. Say how many identical units you have, instead of creating one listing per unit.
- Hourly, daily and weekly rates. Set a price for each length of rental.
- Buffers. Leave time between rentals for cleaning or checks.
- Deposits. Take a deposit with the booking.
- Pickup and return times. Set opening hours and the times customers can collect and return items.
- Booking and checkout. Customers pick dates and times on your Wix site and pay at checkout.
What Wix already does
Wix has its own Rentals app, which handles hourly and daily rentals with buffer time and deposits, where each rentable item is its own listing. This app is meant for businesses that want a stock count per item and the extras above. We are still deciding exactly what to include, and your reply helps.
Planned price
From $15 a month. This is a plan, not an offer, and may change before release.
Status
In development. There is no install link and no release date yet. Joining the waitlist means sending us an email; we will write once when the app is ready, and you can tell us what you need from it. We use your address only for this.
