License keys for Wix Stores
License keys for Wix Stores is a Wix app in development. It is not available yet and cannot be installed. It is planned to give each paid order its own unique license key or serial number, send it to the buyer by email, show it on the thank-you page, revoke it if the order is refunded, and limit downloads. Planned price: from $8 a month.

What it will do
- One key per paid order. You load a list of keys or serials for a product. When an order is paid, the next unused key is assigned to that order.
- Delivery. The key is sent to the buyer by email and shown on the thank-you page.
- Revoke on refund. When an order is refunded or cancelled, its key is marked revoked in the app. An email that has already been sent cannot be taken back, so a revoked key only helps if your software checks it.
- Download limits. Limit how many times a digital file can be downloaded per order.
- Overview. See which keys are used, unused or revoked.
What Wix already does
Wix Stores sells digital files and emails the buyer a download link after payment. As described in Wix’s help pages, it does not hand out license keys or handle refunds for them. This app is meant to add that on top of Wix Stores.
Planned price
From $8 a month. This is a plan, not an offer, and may change before release.
Status
In development. There is no install link and no release date yet. Joining the waitlist means sending us an email; we will write once when the app is ready, and you can tell us what you need from it. We use your address only for this.
