Burnrate for monday.com
Kayabyte Burnrate turns the time your team already logs in monday.com into budgets, retainer hour banks and margins for client work. See what each client or project has used, what is left, when it will run out, and what you can bill. Nothing new to fill in: Burnrate reads monday’s time tracking columns, or an hours log you already keep.
What it does
- Budgets in money or hours. One-off, monthly or quarterly. A budget can span several boards, or just some groups or items on a board (for example Client = Acme).
- Retainers with rollover. Unused hours of a monthly or quarterly retainer can carry over into the next period.
- Rate card with dates. A default rate, roles and people, each with a cost rate and a billing rate. A new rate applies from its date, so past numbers never change.
- Health and forecast. Every budget shows On track, At risk or Over budget, the burn so far, and when it will run out at the current pace.
- Margins. Cost, billable amount and margin per budget, with fixed hourly billing if a client pays one rate.
- Alerts. Watchers get a monday notification when a budget reaches its warning level and when it goes over.
- Invoicing marks. Mark each period as invoiced, so you can see what is billable and not yet invoiced.
- Reports and CSV. Hours, cost, billable and margin by board, group, item, person, month or client, for any date range.
- Costs on the board. Burnrate can write each item’s cost and billable amount into numbers columns, for monday dashboards, formulas and automations.
