Wix and Square inventory sync apps compared (2026)
By Kayabyte
Disclosure: I make Inventory Sync for Square, one of the apps below. I’ve tried to describe every app fairly, including where mine is not the best choice. Prices, plans, ratings and review counts come from each app’s page on the Wix App Market and were read on 3 November 2026. Where a page didn’t say, the table says “not stated” instead of guessing. Listings change, so check the page before you buy.
Wix Stores has no built-in Square link, and Square has no built-in Wix link, so a shop that sells in person on Square and online on Wix has two stock counts that drift apart. The manual options (updating both by hand, or spreadsheets) are covered in How to sync Square inventory with your Wix store. This page compares the apps.
The short answer
- You want the cheapest way to try it: QuickSync for Square has a free plan for up to 100 syncing variants. Square Integration is free for up to 10 products each way. Mine is free for up to 25 items (variants).
- You also want Square orders and gift cards in Wix: Square Integration lists POS orders on its $26.99 plan and gift cards on its $35.99 plan.
- You want the app with the most reviews: SKU IQ Inventory Sync has 97 reviews at 4.1, but it is built for many POS systems, and its page sends Square users to a separate app, SKU IQ for Square.
- You want a plain two-way stock sync at a fixed low price, with prices and product import on the paid plan: mine, with the limits below.
Comparison table
| App | Reviews (rating) | Price (as listed) | Free plan | Trial | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Square Integration | 13 (5.0) | $17.99, $26.99 and $35.99 a month | Yes: import up to 10 Square products, upload up to 10 Wix products | Not stated | Products and stock, customers from the first paid plan, POS orders on $26.99, gift cards on $35.99. Direction not stated as one-way or two-way |
| SKU IQ for Square | 7 (4.3) | $18, $34 and $70 a month | Not stated | 14 days | Stock quantity and a unified order view; attributes and auto push on the middle plan, images on the top plan |
| SKU IQ Inventory Sync | 97 (4.1) | $19, $39.20 and $79.20 a month (20% sale shown until 4 Jan 2027) | Not stated | 14 days | Many POS systems; not available in Norway per the page; the page points Square users to SKU IQ for Square |
| QuickSync for Square | 4 (5.0) | $26, $62 and $89 a month | Yes: up to 100 syncing variants, stock only | Not stated | Stock is two-way once products are matched; product details copy from a source store you choose, on paid plans. Needs matching SKUs and tracked inventory |
| Inventory Sync for Square (mine, no reviews yet) | None yet | Free; Pro $14.99 a month, or $12.49 billed yearly | Yes: up to 25 items (variants), both directions | 14 days on Pro | Two-way stock sync as changes, 15-minute safety check, one Square location; Pro adds prices, product import and creation |
“A month” is the price the App Market shows. Ratings are out of 5. Where a page showed a yearly toggle without yearly figures, I have left the yearly price out.
Square Integration
The most reviewed of the Square-only apps (13 reviews at 5.0). Its plans are built by what you move: the free plan imports up to 10 Square products and uploads up to 10 Wix products, the $17.99 plan removes those limits and adds customer data, the $26.99 plan adds POS orders into Wix and unlimited locations, and the $35.99 plan adds Square gift cards at Wix checkout. The page describes importing and uploading products and doesn’t say whether stock then stays in step both ways, so ask the vendor.
Fits best: a shop that wants Square orders, customers or gift cards inside Wix, and can pay for the higher plans.
SKU IQ for Square and SKU IQ Inventory Sync
Two listings from the same vendor. SKU IQ for Square (4.3 from 7 reviews) lists stock quantity and a unified order view from $18 a month, with attribute sync and automatic product push on the $34 plan and images on the $70 plan. SKU IQ Inventory Sync (4.1 from 97 reviews) is the multi-POS one, with a 20% sale shown until 4 January 2027. Both have 14-day trials. If you use Square, the Square listing is the one the other page points to.
Fits best: shops that may move between POS systems, or want a unified order view.
QuickSync for Square
QuickSync lists a free plan for up to 100 syncing variants, with stock sync only. Product details sync (price, photo, description) from a source store you choose starts on the $26 plan, and the paid plans go up to 2,500, 10,000 and 20,000 variants. The page says stock is two-way once products are matched and syncing is on, and warns that source-store updates can overwrite product edits on the other side. It needs matching, unique SKUs and tracked inventory.
Fits best: a larger catalog that needs the free plan’s 100 variants, or very large catalogs on the higher plans.
Inventory Sync for Square (mine)
It links items with the same SKU, copies the starting count from Square (or from Wix, your choice) once, and from then on adds up the changes on each side: a Square sale of 2 takes 2 off Wix, and a Wix order of 1 takes 1 off Square. That means sales on both sides at the same moment both count. Square and Wix tell the app about changes within seconds, and a safety check every 15 minutes copies anything that was missed.
What it does not do:
- One Square location per Wix site.
- No Square orders, customers or gift cards in Wix. It reads and changes items, prices and stock only.
- The free plan stops at 25 items (variants).
- Prices copy only when the Wix store and the Square location use the same currency. Pro only.
- Weights: Square can count in fractions, and the web shop shows whole units, rounded down.
Pro is $14.99 a month, or $12.49 billed yearly, with a 14-day trial. It is on the Wix App Market, and the details are on the app page.
What to check before you pick one
- Does stock sync both ways, as changes, or does one side overwrite the other? Ask what happens when both sides sell at the same moment.
- How are products linked? By SKU, by hand, or by a source store. Duplicate SKUs are where most links fail.
- What does the free plan cut off? The number of items or variants.
- How many Square locations does it support?
- What does it do when Wix or Square is down? A missed update should be caught later.
- Which catalog version does your store use? Some features need the current Wix Stores catalog.
- What do you need besides stock? Orders, customers, gift cards or prices are only on some plans.
