Pickup & Delivery Time Slots for Wix

Let customers choose a pickup time in your Wix Stores checkout, with a limit on how many orders each time slot takes. Bakeries, florists, cafes, butchers and farm shops set opening hours, a slot length and a capacity. A full slot shows as Full, and the chosen time is saved on the order. On the Pro plan the same picker also offers delivery times.

Getting started

  1. Install Pickup & Delivery Time Slots from the Wix App Market on a site with Wix Stores.
  2. In your Wix shipping settings, make sure the store has a pickup option (for example “Store pickup”). The picker only appears for options like this.
  3. In your site dashboard, open Time slots.
  4. Set your opening hours for each weekday, the slot length (5 to 480 minutes) and how many orders each slot takes. Save.
  5. Click Add picker to checkout in the first-run checklist, then publish your site. The live checkout only shows the picker after the site is published.
  6. Place a test order on your live site. Choose the pickup option: the picker shows days and time slots. The chosen time appears in the checkout summary and on the order.

What shoppers see

The picker sits under the delivery options in the checkout. Days are headings and slots are buttons. A slot that has reached its limit is disabled and says Full. After a shopper picks a time, the slot is held for them while they check out. The shopper has to choose a time before pressing Place order; the Continue button itself cannot be blocked. The picker is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Japanese, depending on the page language.

What you see

The Time slots page lists upcoming orders by slot, for today, tomorrow or a date you pick, with how full each slot is, the order number, the buyer’s first name and the items. The chosen time is also saved on every order as “Pickup time” or “Delivery time” (open the order in your dashboard). On the Pro plan you can print a prep list grouped by time.

FAQ

Do customers see a time picker for shipping too? Not on the Free plan. The Free plan offers pickup only. On Pro you choose which delivery options (for example your local delivery option) also ask for a time.

Do I need a pickup option in my store? Yes. The picker appears when the shopper chooses a pickup option, so set one up in your Wix shipping settings first.

Where does the chosen time show? In the checkout summary, on the order page in your dashboard as “Pickup time” or “Delivery time”, on the Time slots page and on the Pro prep list. The time is also written to the buyer note, so the buyer’s order confirmation email and Print order show it too.

What happens when a slot is full? It shows as Full and cannot be chosen. If two shoppers try for the last place at the same moment, the second one is told the time is full now and picks another.

What if a customer cancels or the order is refunded in full? The seat in that slot is freed.

Can a shopper place an order without choosing a time? Not normally: Place order is disabled until a time is chosen. If our service is slow or unavailable for several seconds, the shopper can continue without a time so a sale is never lost, and the order is listed on the Time slots page as an order placed without a time. If every slot offered is full, the same happens and you contact the customer.

Which time zone is used? Your site’s time zone from your Wix business settings. The editor shows it next to the schedule.

Does it work with Wix Harmony or the new one-page checkout? It was tested on the one-page Wix Stores checkout. We have not tested every site type, so install it on a test site first and place a test order.

What does the app store? The schedule, the plan and, for each booking, the slot, the order number, the buyer’s first name and the items. No email address, phone number or address. See the privacy policy.

What happens if I remove the app? The picker disappears from your checkout and the stored data is deleted within 30 days, as described in the privacy policy.

How do I get help? Email support@kayabyte.dev. We answer within one business day, Monday to Friday, Central European Time.
